    Here they are... Dolly Llama and Gandhi

     We got these 2 cutie pies on Nov. 2, 2007 from a farm near Lake Lillian, MN. 
    Gandhi is the one with the white face and is bigger than Dolly, who has the white leg. 

    We are hoping to have a baby llama, cria (cree-ah), in the future.  Dolly isn't quite 3 years old (breeding age for female llamas)
    so it might be awhile since llamas carry their young for 350 days.

     
    Not to be too graphic, but if you're interested in what llama beans (as Rich calls them) look like, here's a pic.
    Llama manure is much like that of a rabbit's.  There is no need to compost it before adding it to a garden. 

    Does it stink?  Nope.
