Be fair to others, be humane to our animals, be kind to mother earth, and be thankful for what we have.
From time to time, we have animals for sale... some of them processed, but most of them quite alive.
Taste our farm raised chicken. You may never buy from the grocery store again.
Rabbits are our specialty... more... >
71 Acres. If you love pheasant hunting, you'll love the prairies of Coyote Ridge Farms. It's all but guaranteed that you'll get your limit for your hunting party. In years past, hunters have been able to reach their limit within 100 yards of the main farm place. We always advise that you have the shotguns loaded before walking away from the farm.
Hunting should be even better for the seasons of 2008 & beyond. We've planted another 9+ acres of native grasses along Shakopee Creek, which flows lazily through our farms grasslands.

Deer Hunting weekends packages available in 2009.
The egg yolks are firm, bright orange and full of
B vitamins and omega-3 fatty acids and are quite tasty.
Eggs from our birds on pasture are higher in folic acid and
vitamin B12, as well as the antioxidants, lutein and
zeaxanthan. You can truly taste the difference.
We are processing all our Cornish-cross chickens now. We have eggs and chickens (fresh, frozen or living) until sold-out. Turkeys available after November. We'll be selling hatching eggs & chicks in 2009.
ATTENTION 4-H'ers. We will have Show Quality Mini-Lops FOR SALE, go here. Last year our rabbits placed 1st, 2nd & 3rd in open class. And our doe was placed in the 4-H State Fair line-up.
July 27 - We just heard from folks we sold three show rabbits to this spring. All 3 bunnies are going to the 2008 Minnesota State Fair. Congratulations Meyers!!! Good job.
We currently have 3 wethers for sale. The eldest, being a year old and the 2 others were born this spring.
If you are interested, give a call or send us an email.
We don't have any available, but my good friend Mike Lindquist does. We buy all of our hormone-free, organic milk from his dairy farm for less per gal. than we can buy commercially, processed milk. The kids love it and we make great tasting mozzarella and ricotta cheeses.
From time to time, he has organically fed beef for sale.
*** At the present time, we are looking for some Scottish Highlanders. They are smaller and slower to mature, but do quite well on mostly pasture. If you know of someone who has some that are affordable for this small homestead setting, please contact us. ***
At this time, our llamas are not for sale.
This year we have a few head of sheep for pasture development only. We are trying to stay away from chemical weed control. Between our goats and sheep, we are hoping to curb weed growth.
We don't have huge amounts of apples, but we have apples just the same. We planted another Honey Crisp tree this year. We, again, should have more crab apples than we know what to do with. If interested, make sure you contact us.
If we don't have what you want, contact Bill at Sunnyside Orchards, north of Pennock, MN.
We have a garden at the farm. Next year, we plan to sell produce on site and at the local farmer's markets. Our gardens are grown organically, using natural fertilizer (manure) only. We are hoping to build a greenhouse to get an early start on the season next year.
Because we will be selling most of our grapes commercially, that is no reason why we won't sell to the hobbyist. I love making wine and I encourage beginners and pros alike to acquire the best fruit available.
